Unite! Language and Culture Tandems: Learn, Practise, Connect

Do you want to improve your speaking skills and cultural knowledge? With the Unite! Language and Culture Tandems, you can!
Two laughing women chat in speech bubbles outside a pink wall with round openings, text unite!

Unite! Language and Culture Tandems is a peer-to-peer experience that helps you learn about each other’s languages, countries, and cultures in an informal setting.

Join the programme and share your language and culture with someone from another Unite! university. It’s a great way to improve your speaking skills in a language you want to practise while meeting new people and expanding your international network.

Possible language options include Català, Deutsch, English, Español, Français, Polski, Português, Suomi, Svenska, and more!

How does it work?

Using your Aalto University login, sign up between 10- 27 October 2026 on the Language Tandems Metacampus space.

You will be paired with a Unite! student who matches your language and cultural interests. The tandems will be matched on an ongoing basis and should be finalised within 15 days of registering. Please note that the matching depends on the offer and demand of the participants. The language tandem team will strive to form as many tandems as possible.

Sign up and enjoy your Tandem!
