Students considering research after their Master’s degree are invited to an information session on doctoral studies at Aalto University on 21 April 2026.

Organised together with the Unite! University network, the event brings together researchers from across Europe to share their experiences.

The programme begins online at 12:00pm Finnish time with a joint Unite! session on Zoom. Professor Ignasi Casanova from UPC will open the event with a talk on the value of pursuing a Unite! doctorate, followed by interactive breakout discussions and an opportunity to ask questions about key research fields such as Artificial Intelligence, Industry 4.0 and Energy.

From 13:30 onwards, the event continues on campus at Maarintie 8. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet Aalto doctoral researchers in person, and join a panel discussion.

The event is open to all students and will be held in English.
