Teppo Heiskanen appointed Director of Fundraising

Heiskanen will start in his new position on 11 January 2016.

Teppo Heiskanen (b. 1964) is responsible for organising and leading the fundraising and donor relations function of the university, as well as successful implementation of the fundraising campaigns of the university.

In 2003–2011, Teppo Heiskanen worked as director for the Nordic Council of Ministers in Denmark and Lithuania, managing for instance the fundraising for the European Humanities University. Earlier, he has been at the University of Helsinki, for instance as the head of administration in the faculty of theology. The last four years his firm has provided fundraising and international project management services for the higher education sector.

The MBA Alum of the Year Found Meaning Challenges in the Humanitarian Field – “I Have a Talent for Managing Crises”

The MBA Alum of the Year 2023 award has been granted to Päivi Hurttia who has pursued a career in journalism and communications, among other things. Hurttia recently returned from Ethiopia where she spent a year working at the International Committee of the Red Cross, ensuring the safety of humanitarian assistance to all regions.
