Teaching assistants positions open for application

Are you interested in working with fellow students and getting work experience in teaching? The Department of Electrical Engineering and Automation is looking for teaching assistants for the following courses during the spring semester 2024

ELEC-C1230 Säätötekniikka (Control engineering)


4-5 teaching assistants will be hired for this course. The course is taught in Finnish, and the assistants also need to know Finnish.
The tasks of the teaching assistants include:

- giving weekly exercise hours (laskarit) and calculus hours (Laskutupa)
- evaluating homework (6 rounds altogether)
- evaluating intermediate exams and final exam
All work is divided even between the teaching assistants.
The applicants must have a solid knowledge of control engineering (at least one well done course on the topic).

ELEC-C8201 Control and Automation (control engineering part of the course)
 

1-2 teaching assistants will be hired for the control engineering part of the course. The course is taught in English.
The tasks of the teaching assistants include:
- giving weekly exercise hours, 8 weeks and calculus hours, 8 weeks
- evaluating homework (4 rounds altogether)
- evaluating the final exam

The applicants must have a solid knowledge of control engineering.

ELEC-E8115 Micro- and Nano Robotics


1 teaching assistant will be hired for this course. The course is taught in English.
The tasks of the teaching assistant include:
- updating and grading home assignments

The applicants are expected to have passed with very good/excellent grade in the previous Micro- and Nanorobotics course.
