Save the Date: XII Unite! Dialogue at Aalto University
Unite! is a European university alliance of nine universities focused on innovation, technology, and engineering. Students, staff, and faculty at Unite! partner universities benefit from opportunities such as international exchanges, research funding, and collaboration.
This edition of the Unite! Dialogue is themed ‘connect and collaborate’, with a special focus on early-career researchers. Part of the programme will see early-stage academics from Aalto welcome peers from other Unite! partner universities for in-depth, small-group exchanges.
‘Mix and match’ sessions are also planned to connect diverse participants to share ideas and collaborate around specific topics. The objective is to find new contacts and foster collaborations that support Unite!'s education, research, or innovation activities. Aaltonians are welcome to join any of these 'mix and match' sessions without registration.
Another highlight of the programme will be Aalto Lab Visits. These sessions will offer a window and guided tours into Aalto’s research and innovation infrastructures through presentations on key facilities such as the Metsähovi Radio Observatory, Science-IT research infrastructure, Aalto Ice Tank, and the work of Research Software Engineers.
Aaltonians are welcome to attend the opening on Tuesday, 7 October and closing on Thursday 9 October. No registration is needed.
