Ever wondered if your research could have more impact – but how? What skills are needed for working with innovations? What is happening in the industry right now? How can you protect your inventions with patents? How to best communicate about your research?

Join Aalto Inventors to find out and meet top researchers, entrepreneurs and industry experts in your field!

Aalto Inventors is an innovation programme for researchers, especially doctoral and postdoctoral, who want explore the commercial potential of their research. No prior business background or ready inventions are needed to join.

This fall, there will be three cohorts: one focusing on AI, one focusing on biotechnology and one multidisciplinary cohort – an exciting pilot looking to bring new fields together.

Each cohort is tailored to fit the participants and bring you the best knowledge and connections. Sessions cover topics like patenting, communications, industry networking, customer discovery, startup insights, funding and pitching. You will gain widely applicable skills to benefit your future career.

Visiting experts from industry, academia and startups let you build a curated, highly relevant network.
