Otakaari 2A and 2B construction will start during February.

Construction work will start 21 February with site fencing, Konemiehentie parking area, between the School of Business and the Nanotalo building will be removed at the same time. Pedestrian ways and bike routes will also be moved out of the area to the Väre and School of Business side for the duration of the construction work. The construction will take a total of 1.5 years to complete. 

The construction will begin when site fencing is completed. Construction begins with preparatory work, such as     excavation and piling work. Traffic arrangements and preparation of construction site support areas will be excecuted in phases during spring. We will provide further details of the impact of the construction work in the area as the work progresses.

By alliance contract, the contractor selected for the site is NCC Finland. The developer is Aalto University Campus & Real Estate (Aalto CRE).
