Learning Lounge offers more study space on campus

Having trouble finding a quiet place to study on campus? On weekdays, the restaurant halls at Compass Group’s Food & Co (A Bloc) and TUAS Restaurant (Maarintie 8) are transformed into Learning Lounge study and work spaces for students and staff.
Learning Lounge

Learning Lounge opening hours:

  • Food & Co (A Bloc): 9:00–11:00
  • TUAS Restaurant (Maarintie 8): 14:00–19:30

You can use the spaces for independent study or focused work, meet with your group, join a remote lecture, or simply take a short break between classes. A Bloc’s Learning Lounge offers a calm start to the day and a space to focus. At TUAS the restaurant hall is open in the afternoon and early evening and works especially well for projects and group work.

Both locations offer additional power outlets and plenty of table space for individuals and small groups. Coffee and light snacks are available on a self-service basis, whenever it suits your schedule.

Planning a party or a seminar?

Food & Co’s private cabinet at A Bloc can be booked during restaurant opening hours for a range of events—such as meetings, workshops, small seminars or celebrations. Bookings require catering to be ordered from the restaurant. The room is also licensed to serve alcohol, so everything can be conveniently arranged in one place.
The space is suitable for groups of around 30 people and can be flexibly set up for different purpose
