Fortum donates EUR 250 000 to Aalto University
Three other Finnish universities received a similar donation, also.
As part of Finland 100, the centenary of Finland’s independence, Fortum has made a donation of EUR 250 000 to Aalto University. A donation was also made to the Lappeenranta University of Technology, the Åbo Akademi University and the University of Oulu.
“We want to celebrate Finland’s centenary by looking forward and investing in Finland’s most notable strength, i.e. know-how,” says Arto Räty, Senior Vice President, Corporate Affairs and Communications, Fortum.
Fortum is a leading clean-energy company that provides its customers with electricity, heating and cooling as well as smart solutions to improve resource efficiency.
