Job placement of graduate students is one of the priorities of the Unite! university alliance. The aim of these sessions is to provide students with different views and perspectives on the international job market to strengthen their knowledge and help them figure out where they want to work, which position, which company size, which sector, and why.

In these sessions we will share the different realities of each country and career development experiences of the partner universities within the Unite! alliance while still making each session an asset for all participants, not only for those who study in a specific partner university, but for all those students from the whole Unite! community who wish to learn more about the different labor markets.

The first Unite! Career Session, developed by the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm (KTH) at the end of 2021, was about Digital leadership in times of disruption, a webinar focused on what skills both newly starting as well as well-established leaders need in order to thrive in these times of accelerated technological development.

Aalto University opened a MOOC titled 'Finland Works' which is already available online and can be accessed at any time. Focused on how to build a career and work in Finland, it provides a better understanding of Finland’s work culture, companies and how to better communicate your skill and find a job. The course is open and free for all students of the Unite! community, which will receive 2 ECTS and a Certificate from Aalto University.

2022 will bring you more Unite! Career Sessions that will help you build your navigation map in this always changing international labor market.
