Finland faces an urgent innovation challenge. While universities produce world-class research and breakthrough technologies, many discoveries never leave the lab. But they have the potential to change the world.

Aalto Innovation School accelerates the journey from research to scalable, impact-driven deep-tech ventures. Innovation School provides a clear, supported pathway for doctoral and postdoctoral researchers to explore real-world problems, advance innovation readiness, and prepare for venture creation. We want to equip Aalto researchers with the tools and mindset to embark on their innovation journey.

Through programs like Aalto Inventors and Innovation Postdoc, with more to be launched, researchers move step-by-step from discovery to validation and towards spinout formation. By combining innovation training, mentoring, and streamlined commercialization support, Innovation School strengthens Aalto's research-to-business pipeline and builds the next generation of deep-tech founders.
