Hamed and Javad, the CEO and CTO of Amertate, both from the historic region of South Khorasan, carry a deep connection to the ancient legacy of wind energy. This part of Iran is home to some of the earliest windmills, dating back to 1700 BC, where the ingenuity of harnessing wind power first began. Growing up in the shadow of these ancient structures, they were inspired by their ancestors’ ability to turn natural forces into sustainable energy sources, a tradition that has shaped their own journey into renewable energy.
Amertat Energy Oy, draws its name from the word ‘Amertate’ that means ‘eternal life’.
