Let’s walk, talk and think together. We particularly invite students and everyone who works in Otaniemi to share what they know about the area, ranging from technical features or mythology.

Explore campus life through collective walking, and learn to see things from different perspectives.

We may find things that hinder sustainability or identify ways to enhance it.

We will take photographs and make maps, but essentially the walk is its own output as it seeks to foster creative thinking regarding the environment and the forces shaping our future. Join us to develop activist research and sustainable living in the Helsinki region.

We'll meet at 17:00 in front of the Väre building (by Aalto University metro station). The walk will finish by 19:00 at The Test Site. You can just show up. We recommend outdoor clothing and footwear that is suitable for muddy footpaths.

Narratiimi is a loose collective of walkers and talkers. This time we are:

  • Eeva Berglund, Adjunct Professor, Department of Design
  • Anna Kholina, Doctoral researcher, Department of Design
