In our events, we are committed to Aalto University’s principles for a safer space.

International Open Access Week is a global, community-driven week of action to open up access to research. Theme for 2025 is Who Owns Our Knowledge?. 

Open Access Week is organized by SPARC, a non-profit organization that supports systems for research and education that are open by default and equitable by design. Aalto University is a member of SPARC Europe.
