EIT Festival - 2 October @Aalto

Aalto campus is going to be all about showcasing research-based innovation as the first-ever EIT Festival lands on 2 October.

The European Institute of Innovation & Technology (EIT) is Europe’s largest innovation network. EIT Festival brings together industry, researchers, entrepreneurs, and students (from high schools and universities) to network, learn, discuss, and co-create the future. Industry and researchers have a great opportunity to showcase their latest achievements in innovation and research, and to engage with students and entrepreneurs. Students and entrepreneurs can learn about the societal challenges Finland and Europe are facing, and build connections with companies and researchers actively solving these challenges. The festival offers various EIT activities throughout the day. The Research & Innovation for Sustainable Future Exhibition in the VÄRE building is the center of activities.

The EIT works on areas that make a difference to our planet, the EU, and its citizens: from climate, digitalization, and renewable energies to health, raw materials, and food, with manufacturing and mobility just starting up. EIT helps us meet the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
