Defence of dissertation in the field of International Design Business Management, Satu Rekonen, Lic.Sc. (Tech.)

Satu Rekonen, Lic.Sc.(Tech.), will defend the dissertation "Managing for knowledge creation in exploratory projects" on Friday 30 August 2019 at 12 noon at the Aalto University School of Science. The study explores how practitioners with little or no experience on creative problem-solving practices approach ambiguous problems and, on the other hand, how this type of work should be supported. The findings indicate for example a tendency to push towards premature decisions on solutions instead of exploring different development opportunities and building on learning from experiments.
