Defence of dissertation in the field of computer science, Lassi Haaranen, M.Sc.(Tech.)

Lassi Haaranen, M.Sc.(Tech.), will defend the dissertation "Game-Related Learning and Exposure in Computer Science" on 8 February 2019 at 12 noon at the Aalto University School of Science, lecture hall AS1, Maarintie 8, Espoo. In this dissertation we explore two approaches of utilizing games in computer science education and outreach. Firstly, we explored games and gaming communities in which programming is present. And secondly, we investigated utilizing elements of games in computing education.
