Welcome to try Campus Membership at Aalto University's Otaniemi campus!
We offer you the opportunity to work in the co-working space for health and wellbeing entrepreneurs at Aalto University's Otaniemi campus and free participation in Health & Wellness week's events.
In addition to working and meeting rooms, you have access to a modern exercise/yoga room with projector and speakers, usage of red light therapy room and light exercise equipment, such as vibration plate, hand weights, kettlebells, climbing frame and balance boards. The space has several fitness spots for performing your own activities.

Instructors and lecturers
Mikaela is a yoga teacher, MindRESET coach (MentalCLINIC) and Forest Mindfulness Instructor living on the shores of Lake Nuuksio, Espoo. In addition to her ten years of yoga teaching, she has extensive experience in cooperation with several Finnish companies. Numerous small and large companies, as well as individuals, have found their way to the Nuuksio Forests with Miki for empowerment.
Mikaela Vuorisalmi offers a yoga class suitable for everyone on Monday 28.8. at 8 a.m. and 9 a.m.
Carita Luhio have studied holistic nutrition, herbalism, permaculture & organic gardening. Her main interest is with wild foods, edible gardens, recipe creation & medicinal use of herbs. In her presentation she will open a door to our amazing ”completely free supermarket” what is found in everyones backyard & near by forest.
Carita Luhio offers little taste of wild foods, what they are and how to use them as a support towards healthier life on Monday 28.8. at 11–12.
Ivan is a postdoctoral researcher in neuroimaging methods group at Aalto University. He developes computational methods and machine learning techniques to analyze physiological data from the brain and the body in real-time. His group apply these methods to design Brain-Machine Interfaces, and to investigate humans respond, adapt and cope with stress.
Ivan talks about understanding the human brain in everyday life from the perspective of neuroscience on Wednesday 30.8. at 11 a.m.
Leigh is an Australian health and lifestyle coach and mentor who specialises in breathwork education and facilitation, contrast exposure (sauna & cold exposure) and is known for his ice diving adventures. Leigh teaches and guides people how to breathe correctly for optimal health. Including meditation, enhancing sleep, training and coaching nasal breathing development, breathing during sports performance, as well as traumatic release, pain management/relief and other therapeutic applications. He holds a multitude of certifications in the field of breath and breathwork and he is a Wim Hof Method instructor.
Leigh offers three different exercises during the event week: Tuesday 29.8. and Thursday 31.8. at 8 a.m. breathing exercise, Friday 1.9. at 8 a.m. body awakening and Friday 1.9. at 11 a.m. lecture of optimizing your daily routines.
Axl is a startup entrepreneur and former banker who understands how to maintain the performance of a top athlete. He has skills in various sports, including skateboarding for over a decade, all the way to training MMA with a UFC champion. Axl strives to optimize his well-being through the philosophy of the Chinese philosophy Wu Wei.
Axel Helling, creator of AxlMethod, offers strength training guidance Thuesday 29.8. at 11 a.m.
Mikko is a ritual musician, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and music producer. He combines rich vocal expression, live music, rhythms and deep bass frequencies. Mikko's music is influenced by Nordic and Siberian cultures. Through the power of music inspired by nature, Mikko aims to create an experience to open a gateway to a altered state of being and offer an experience that will not be forgotten.
