Join us in opening Aalto University's new academic year 2026–2027! The opening ceremony launches our academic year by showcasing Aalto expertise and future innovators. After the ceremony, we celebrate the Aalto Award recipients proposed by our community. At the end of the event, we will proceed to a reception at Marsio.

Seating in the U2 hall is limited, so please remember to register for the event. You can find the registration link in the event details. Registration opens on 18 August 2026.

The Otaniemi Derby

Get ready for the Otaniemi Derby — where KY United and Polin Pallo face off in a thrilling football clash for local bragging rights! The game will take place at the Otaniemi Sports Park, starting at 18:00.
