Doctoral Career Service
Doctoral Career Services is an Aalto Doctoral Education Services initiative, in collaboration with the Career Design Lab, strengthening doctoral researchers' employability.
Doctoral Career Services are created to strengthen the employability of doctoral researchers by helping them translate deep academic expertise into skills and a profile employers recognise and value. Through mentoring, specialised courses, guidance sessions and workshops, doctoral career services equips researchers with the career skills, confidence and industry connections to move beyond academia with a clear, compelling professional profile. The result is a stronger flow of doctoral talent into industry, and a clearer signal of Aalto's leadership in doctoral career development.

Courses and Workshops
Courses and workshops are where you learn to say what your expertise is worth. Across short info sessions, curriculum course and the "Put Your PhD to Work" series, you practise the concrete moves of a career move: writing the CV, holding the interview, building the network, telling the story. Everything is built for doctoral researchers and open across all Aalto schools.
