Moving Manners -exhibition at Gallery Lapinlahti

03.04.-17.4.2019

Moving Manners exhibition opened on Wednesday the 3th of April in Lapinlahti gallery.

The artists write:
”My mind is troubled by a promise of a time after the written word. I turn on the projector and let its light blind me until my eyes hurt. I feel nauseous, because I’m too aware of all the people around me. The things they do and the things I have done and shuddered at. I wonder, am I in the right place.

Moving Manners is an exhibition by Aalto ARTS Art Education MA students. The exhibition consists of experimental, narrative and psychological videos and installations. The works reflect on the absurdity of human activity and our involuntary and intentional exercise of power.”

Artists:
Elina Ahlstedt, Vera Anttila, Krista Blomqvist, Lauri Elstelä, Rasmus Förster, Emma Hovi, Tuuli Huovila, Kalle Keinonen, Säde Rinne, Susanna Storbacka & Minna Suoniemi
