Art Education: Art, Science and Technology
The thematic courses within art, science and technology highlight the importance of critical thinking and the preparedness and abilities for making (praxis) considering the needs and trends of the continuously changing society and culture.
Some of the themes studied are posthumanism, new materialism, new art forms, sciences, multiliteracies, mathematics and art, virtuality, artificial intelligence (AI), programming, robotics, immersiveness, narratives, gamification and future studies.

2018 marked the 10th anniversary of the Bioart Society and created the impetus for the publication of Art as We Don’t Know It. For this publication, the Bioart Society joined forces with the School of Arts, Design and Architecture of the Aalto University.
