Algae'bruh

What happens if we let eutrophication take over the Baltic Sea? This one and many other questions are the reason I created Algae'bruh.

Algae'bruh is a website where you can explore different future scenarios through the perspective of human and non-human characters. At the end of each comic you can click on one of the possibilities and the story continues into that direction.

TRY IT

A comic about eutrophification - algae characters talking to each other about their problems

The project came to be as a result of an abundance of ideas and thoughts which at first I didn't know how to make use of. I couldn't decide which idea to give more attention to so I kept gathering more. Then I started thinking that maybe it's not bad that I cannot choose which idea to develop further. Maybe it is not bad that I have too many questions and not enough answers! Maybe I can use this to create something meaningful? And so I chose to explore every question that I had through the eyes of many different characters in the hope of reaching different people. So that non designers, children, curious adults, people who like fun things in life could also become part of these very important discussions and questions that have been raised during the course.
