Accessibility of Health Technology House
Computer Science building is mainly used for School of Science Department of Neuroscience and Biomedical Engineering.
The accessible entrance to Health Technology House is on the front of the building. The door opens with a button. The main lobby is spacious and well-lit, with enough free space inside and outside the door for easy movement, e.g. with a wheelchair. The lobby service point and elevators are accessible by wheelchair. Between walls and floors there are contrast stickers.
The accessible toilet is located in the main lobby, straight from the main door and turning left. Signs on the ceiling.
The lobby stairs do not have a contrasting stripe, but they stand out because the steps are a different color than the “back wall” of the stairs.
The first elevator is located when you come from the main door, almost to the end of the lobby (about 25 m) and turn right (about 20 m). The elevator works with a passcode. To get to the elevator, you must open the intermediate door (no automatic opening/button). No voice guidance. Buttons at a suitable height. Signs on the ceiling.
The second elevator is located at the end of the hallway downstairs, straight ahead when coming from the main door. Requires opening the intermediate door and an access token.
