Completing the Cross-school course for those who started before 1 Aug 2026
As of 1 August 2026, the terms for completing the Cross-school course have changed. Cross-school course is now called Aalto course.
If you started your studies before 1 August 2026, you will select the Aalto course from an Aalto school other than ARTS, but starting from 1 August 2026 you may also choose the Aalto course from the new Aalto course list. You can find the course list on your programme’s Curriculum 2026–2028 page.
If you transfer to completing your degree according to the 2026–2028 degree requirements, the Aalto course you have already completed will also be accepted towards the new degree requirements. If you have not completed the Aalto course before transferring, you will complete it according to the new 2026–2028 Aalto course list.
