Yes, you can apply to the University Pathway Finland programme even if you already hold a university degree. You may use your higher education certificate as evidence of eligibility.

Yes, you can also apply through the regular admissions channel to any university and degree program.
At the moment, we only offer a pathway for Bachelor-level studies. Students admitted to complete a Bachelor’s degree also receive a study right to a Master’s degree (Bachelor’s and Master’s degree, 3+2 years).
Yes, the Pathway programme fee is the same for all, regardless of nationality.
We do not offer scholarships for the Pathway programme fee.
The universities make scholarship decisions according to their own decision-making schedules. Each program has its own scholarship criteria.
There is no fee for the application.
No, there is no exam required before you can apply. Once you complete the electronic application form and submit your documents, our team will review your application.
Upon submitting your application, you will need to complete a Basic Skills Test, which consists of a brief mathematics assessment. If you meet the eligibility criteria for the Pathway programme and pass the Basic Skills Test, you will receive an invitation to our entrance exam via email. If you pass the written exam, you will be invited to participate in an oral exam.
Please note that taking the language test is not a requirement when applying to the Pathway programme.
Applicants are required to demonstrate their English language proficiency when they apply to degree programmes after the Pathway programme. English language proficiency can be demonstrated with a language test score or in some cases with previous education. Language requirements, methods of submitting the results and deadline for the results will be specified for students accepted in the Pathway programme.
You can, however, submit a language test result or another document to demonstrate your English language proficiency when you apply to University Pathway Finland programme, if you already have a language test result or another accepted certificate.

The application process consists of multiple stages. If you meet the eligibility criteria for the Pathway programme and successfully pass the Basic Skills Test, you will receive an invitation to take a written exam. The top-performing candidates will then be chosen for an oral exam. Those applicants who excel in both the written and oral exams will be offered a place in the Pathway programme. While the application process may be rigorous, please know that we are here to provide support and guidance every step of the way.
You need to submit your language test result as an attachment to the application form. Please follow the instructions in the application form.
Language test results will be verified by Aalto University. Because of this, language test results must also be sent to Aalto University by the test administrator. Please see our instructions on how to deliver test results to Aalto University.
