In admission, the highest ranking students will receive a 100% tuition fee scholarship in the Bachelor programme. Typically about one third of admitted students can receive full scholarships. Students who do not receive a full scholarship will be entitled to an early bird offer which will give them a 50 % reduction on the first year tuition fee. Students will also be eligible to apply for Tampere University scholarships during studies. The whole application process and the exams are administrated by Aalto University.
Please note that the test is not required when applying for the pathway – students will have time until April 2023 to submit a language certificate.
Our admissions criteria (and with them, the list of accepted language certificates) will be confirmed in June 2022. Before they are confirmed, our terms are tentative.
Therefore our advice is not to do the language test before the requirements are confirmed - unless you need the test for some other purpose.
The entrance exam is available until July 24th and after that we will notify applicants whether they are invited to the oral exams or not. The individual oral exams are on August 1 until August 4. You will get the results soon after that - latest in the beginning of the following week.
