A wide variety of program is included in the Virtual Week. Exhibitors will have the chance to contribute based on their own desire and schedule. Students can select the program (offered by exhibitors & others) they join throughout the week.

Each organisation participating in the Aalto Talent Expo Virtual week must provide: 1) An updated and informative Company Profile -page (a virtual stand) on JobTeaser, 2) at least one job advert in JobTeaser and 3) at least one of the following service: chat with students, 1:1 or group videomeetings with students or webinar/info session.

Student marketing and JobTeaser

Virtual stands

During the Virtual Week, the exhibitor's Company Profile -page acts as a "virtual stand". Exhibitors can add a multitude of content to their virtual stand, including pictures, videos and more. Included in the virtual stand are the job ads exhibitors post on JobTeaser and the events they participate in.

The virtual stand on JobTeaser is the most important channel for communicating the goals and opportunities present in your organization. Exhibitors have the chance to build a robust and informative package of content all in one place and update it as much and when they want.

Live Text Chat

Text Chat is a low-threshold way for communicating. It is open for all Aalto University students.

For the Live Text Chat, the employer will select an appropriate time and date when registering for the week. During this selected time, a representative(s) of the company is present in the back office side of JobTeaser to answer students' questions in real time. The representatives must be aware of the recruitment principles and general principles of their organization as well as the job fields of Aalto students.

1:1 and group meetings

Exhibitors have the opportunity to organize 1:1 and group meetings with students. Registering and scheduling these meetings will be done in JobTeaser, and the meetings will take place on platforms that are in use in the exhibitor organization.

For the video meetings exhibitors will set time slots for the students to select. Students can reserve these times on JobTeaser, through which any necessary links for the meeting will be provided. A suitable video meeting platfrom is a necessary requirement for the meetings.

Webinar or info session

In addition to personal meetings, you can arrange webinars or info sessions for a wider audience. The platform for the webinars can be any platform that is familiar to you and your organisation, but a commenting possibility is a necessity. A suitable webinar platfrom is a necessary requirement for the meetings.

The topic for the webinar can be for example an alumnus/a story, description of a work day of your employee, an introduction of an open position/trainee program or even a virtual tour around your office. The students register for the webinars in JobTeaser and you can manage the registrations yourself in the backoffice.

CV & LinkedIn Clinics

CV and LinkedIn clinics provide a great opportunity for exhibitors to meet students and give advice on their resumees, cover letters or LinkedIn -profiles.

In a CV & LinkedIn clinic, representatives and HR experts of employers comment (both in Finnish and in English) and helpo improve the jobseeking documents or the LinkedIn profile of students. One session time is 25 minutes.

The students at the CV & Linkedin clinic are not necessarily applying for a job in the organization whose representatives they meet. The clinic is nevertheless an excellent opportunity for companies to enhance their employer image.

The scheduling and registration will be done in JobTeaser, where times will be set for students to select. A link for the video meeting will be provided for students and exhibitors. The meetings will take place via either Zoom or Teams and will be arranged by the Aalto Talent Expo team.

Portfolio review

During the virtual week, exhibitors will have the chance to comment (both in Finnish and in English) the portfolios of Aalto students and help students improve them. Students registering for a portfolio may come from any field related to Aalto university, but the information of the reviewer will guide the students to select an appropriate slot. One session time is 25 minutes.

The students at the portfolio review are not necessarily applying for a job in the organization whose representatives they meet.

Speed mentoring

During speed mentoring students can talk to Aalto Alumni in a relaxed setting. We encourage Aalto Alumni to share their experience openly. The topics of the sessions include job hunting, career paths and studies.

The scheduling and registration will be done in JobTeaser, where times will be set for students to select. A link for the video meeting will be provided for students and exhibitors. The meetings will take place via either Zoom or Teams and will be arranged by the Aalto Talent Expo team.

Job Advert

Participating organisations are required to open at least one job ad in JobTeaser. The ad can also be for an internship, trainee program or a thesis assignment.

If you don't have any open positions at the moment, you can promote a possibility to send an open application. With the open application you can collect a small CV bank of interested students for future purposes.

Additional programme

Throughout the fall, additional program for the virtual week will be added to this webpage and on JobTeaser.
