Aalto University has signed 2019 the Global Climate Letter and is committed to carbon neutrality by 2030 (external link)

In advance of the UN Climate Change Conference (UNFCCC COP 26), networks and institutions working in Further and Higher Education are coming together to add their support to this letter that would be shared with key government officials and the media in advance of this event.

Aalto University arranged a challenge to find new digital solutions to support implementing and reporting SDGs.

Aalto University has signed an international Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Accord. By signing the Accord Aalto commits to advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals as part of its teaching, research, innovation activities, and campus development.

One way Aalto University will be promoting SDGs in lives of students and staff is the AaltoSDG -app, which will be launched in January 2020.
