NRB will be an on-campus Korean-style noraebang (karaoke booth) where students, staff, and visitors can sing in a cozy, welcoming space. The booth will be soundproofed with mycelium and wood-fiber foams, and its interiors will be co-crafted through participatory workshops (e.g. mycelium tile-making workshops, coming soon!). Designed with bio-based materials and featuring prompt cards that spark conversation around environmental and cultural sustainability, NRB aims to be a space for both thoughtful reflection and celebration of the simple of joy of singing together.
