Next steps 

STEP 1: Check the instructions on tax policies  

Read the information of the taxation of the grant from the Tax Administration's website or from our FAQ to make sure everything is clear.  

STEP 2: Fill in your payment information  

Soon after the positive decision, you will receive an email asking you to fill in your personal banking details for receiving the grant. You can expect to receive the money either on the 15th or the last day of the month depending on Aalto's payment policies. The sooner you fill in your info – the sooner you can expect to receive the money!  

STEP 3: Documenting your action and managing your Drive folder 

We will create and share a folder for you to utilize throughout your action. It will serve two purposes – you can utilize it to manage your action, and we're able to track the process of your project! 

A) Visual materials 

We would love to see your action come to life! Videos, pictures, and other visual materials throughout the project are most welcome! We expect to see rich documentation (minimum of 5 pictures/videos) on each part of the planning and taking the action!

B) Receipts and tracking the project

Please add all the receipts to your own folder in electronic form (scans or pictures of the receipt) as they can be asked by the grant provider (us, the Aalto Sustainability Action Booster) or the Tax Admnistration. 

STEP 4: Find help and useful links if needed 

Check out our Resource Bank where we've gathered tips and resources to help you implement your action! In addition, you can always refer to the FAQ to find answers to your questions or shoot us a message! 

STEP 5: Communicating your action 

Make sure to communicate your action through the appropriate channels, such as social media, Telegram, posters on the campus etc., so everyone in the Aalto community can hear about it and can get involved.  

STEP 6: Keep us in the loop  

Is something interesting happening or do you have some key dates in your project? Let us know – we would love to stay updated to help documenting your amazing work and help spread the word!  

STEP 7: Final report  

At the very end of your project, you'll receive instructions to submit a short final report that includes the realised expenses, learnings, and feedback!
