Teaching Survey as a Development Tool

The Teaching Survey covers the themes related to the teaching experience and the teaching support services. The purpose of the study is the user-oriented development of teaching-related services. The findings will be reported as summaries and conclusions so that no individual respondent can be identified. The results will be used in service development to support decision-making under the themes of the survey.

Information for survey participants

This survey is aimed at the entire teaching staff of Aalto University to find out how the Teacher Services can support teaching even better in the future. Teacher Services exists to support teachers' everyday lives, so your opinion and experience matter. 

Link to the survey

The survey contains 23  questions and takes about 15-20 minutes to answer. Participation is voluntary. You can answer in Finnish or English. Data collection will be carried out between January 22 and February 6, 2024. The survey discusses themes related to teaching experience and teaching support services. The purpose of data collection is the user-oriented development of teaching-related services. The findings will be reported as summaries and conclusions, from which the individual respondent cannot be identified. The results will be used used in service development to support decision-making under the themes of the survey. The outcomes will be communicated to the Aalto University community on the aalto.fi website and in appropriate newsletters. Data processing and storage 

Aalto University acts as the controller of personal data. Personal information is securely stored at Aalto University for 5 years with access rights limited to those entitled to the information. The data is processed by the persons employed by Aalto University, whose duties include handling the matter. The personal data mentioned here is only collected directly from survey respondents and is not combined with any other personal data.
