The school's HR Services are responsible for staffing processes at the school and department level. The HR staff support managers and staff members through all stages of employment, including recruitment, employment contracts, orientation, career planning, competency development, occupational well-being and termination of employment, while taking into account principles of equality and non-discrimination. As well as carrying out HR tasks, the HR staff also takes care of support and instructions for HR processes and systems and handle communications on HR matters. HR Services support the management of the school and departments in staff planning and development of staffing structure in accordance with Aalto University policies.
