In the USP programme the first autumn term is reserved for mandatory studies. Some majors also have their own courses. The first spring term is for alternative studies. The model timetable for the first year is presented below.

The second autumn term is for minor, elective or exchange studies. USP students in Architecture or Landscape Architecture can complete their additional studio courses during the second year. The final spring term is meant mainly for master's thesis work.
