Sihui Zhan

Sihui Zhan is a professor at the College of Environmental Science and Engineering of Nankai University. He received B.Sc. (2002) and PhD (2007) degree in Inorganic chemistry from Shandong University, respectively. He has long been engaged in environmental engineering, water pollution control and environmental catalysis etc. In the aspect of water pollution control, Zhan leads the team to clarify the mechanism of synergistic repair efficiency of graphene-modified nano-magnetic crystal microstructure on organic pollutants and pathogenic microorganisms. The research results lay the theoretical foundation for the diagnosis, control and restoration of water body safety and complex pollution of water. In the aspect of air pollution control, based on the actual situation of air pollution in China, the basic theory of NO_x control in fixed-source coal-fired flue gas, the lean-burn vehicle exhaust and the catalytic oxidation mechanism of key control technology are systematically studied. In 2019, He was awarded National “Ten-Thousand Talents Program” leading talent in scientific and technological innovation. In 2017, He was awarded  national science fund for excellent young scholars. So far, He has more than 90 peer-reviewed papers with over 2300 citation.
