Experienced Researcher & Teacher in the field of Organic Chemistry
Have previously worked as Professor (2002-2016, TUT/Tampere), have obtained the title Docent in the field of Heterocyclic Chemistry (TuY/Turku), and have evaluated EU grant proposals, and obtained funding as PI for several projects. I have a doctoral degree in field of Organic Chemistry (Dr. Sci (Tech), and a MBA degree (Business Management).
Interest in International collaboration. Visits frequently Japan.
Research and Teaching interests : Organic, Industrial and Heterocyclic Chemistry with special focus on reaction mechanisms. Have acted as supervisor for several PhD, M.Sc, and B.Sc. students.In Finland my aim is to create fruitful projects with the chemical/pharmaceutical industry.
