Matti Antero Pärssinen

Matti Pärssinen received his MSc. (2016) and D.Sc (2019) degrees in Networking Technology from the Aalto University. He completed Master of Business Administration (full MBA) at Helsinki University of Technology in 2008. He is a visiting scholar at the School of Electrical Engineering, in the department of Department of Information and Communications Engineering at Aalto University. In 2025 he was awarded an honoree merit of a Docent in the area of energy efficient ICT. His research and teaching focuses on ICT energy efficiency. He leads Telia-Nokia-Aalto research collaboration, and he is an advisor for nine industrial doctoral candidates working on different topics. He has authored over 10 publications.
