Professional Practice

Alongside her academic work, Jenni Reuter maintains a small independent architectural practice. In her design work, she approaches each commission with an emphasis on clarity and ease, considering projects complete only when they are activated by their users. Ongoing experimentation and research within the architectural field are central to her practice, leading her to explore unconventional building materials and construction methods, including straw bales and recycled building components.

Jenni Reuter Architects, founded in 1999, has a diverse portfolio encompassing building design as well as exhibition and graphic design www.jennireuter.fi In addition to her independent practice, Reuter collaborates with Saija Hollmén and Helena Sandman at Hollmén Reuter Sandman Architects. She also serves on the board of the Ukumbi NGO.
