Postdoctoral Researcher
Postdoctoral Researcher
A803 Dept. Design

Gloria's research investigates and extends neo-materialistic concepts applying methods of artistic research.

In her dissertation project "The Open Seam. On Becoming a Knot with a Storm-Sculpted Roof, on Speaking-With from Within" she debates and scouts a material-based language – a language allowing a dialogue between non-human and human material – arising from art-making processes.

Gloria holds a diploma in sustainable design, received 2012 at ecosign/Akademie für Gestaltung. Her research is funded by Jenny and Antti Wihuri Foundation (2018-2019) and Kone Foundation (2019-2021).
