My research looks at the cultural impact of late-stage capitalism on consumer consciousness, examining how individuals navigate feelings of helplessness, disconnection, and existential uncertainty in our current socioeconomic landscape. I analyze the manifestation of cultural malaise, a pervasive sense of unease and disillusionment that emerges when traditional social structures and economic promises fail to deliver meaning or stability.
