Dr. Docent Annamari Vänskä is Senior University Lecturer in Design Cultures at Aalto University. She co-leads the Design Culture Research Group, exploring visual and material culture, ethnographic methods, and design and fashion as embodied, socio-technical, and cultural practices. Her research addresses digitalization, sustainability, and the social impact of design, and extends to curatorial and applied projects nationally and internationally. Her work has been recognized for excellence in research, teaching, and societal engagement.
