Learning outcomes
- After the course, you are able to use simple language to talk about your hobbies and to plan leisure time activities together with others.
- You are able to talk about yourself, your family and everyday life, to talk about what you like and dislike and what you have done or experienced.
- The course equips students with the basic Swedish skills needed in everyday communicative situations.
Content
- Communication exercises where students use Swedish for instance in discussions, planning, decision-making, telling about things and introducing something or someone.
- Topics include leisure time and culture, the weather and calendar dates, family, work and everyday life.
- The course also covers adjectives, verbs, word order, nouns, expressions of time and ordinal numbers.

Teaching hours online on Mondays and Thursdays at 16.30-18.30.
Teaching hours are not recorded. Students are expected to be present at the lectures.

Re-examination will be held on Tuesday 16.1.2024
The examinations will be held as a remote examination in MyCourses. The teacher will give further information on examinations.
Oral examination time will be given by the teacher.

- The course does not fulfill the National Language Requirement (Swedish) or replace the test for it, nor is it intended as a preparatory course for the National Language Requirement Test.
- English is used as a supplementary language for teaching in the course.
