Learning Outcomes
At course completion, you will:
- be able to talk more extensively about your pastimes and hobbies
- be able to take part in discussions regarding work and make enquiries about jobs
- be able to find the main information you need on course topics
- understand and be able to write brief texts concerning work

- Expanding basic vocabulary (e.g. leisure time, hobbies, work life)
- Expanding knowledge of grammar, including plural forms and forms referring to the past
- Conversations related to working life, information retrieval, practising reading and writing skills

Assessment Methods and Criteria
The course requires regular attendance, active participation in class and completion of homework assignments. Written examination and oral test. The weight given to the various assignments in the final grade is specified at the start of the course

Teaching time
8.4.-5.6.2024 Teaching hours online on Mondays and Wednesdays at 16.30-18. No teaching on Wednesday 1.5. (May Day). The lecture will be held on Thursday 2.5. instead.

Teaching hours are not recorded. Students are expected to be present at the lectures.

Examinations 
The examinations will be held as a remote examination in MyCourses.
The course examination will be held on Monday 10.6.2024. No registration.
The re-examination will be held on Monday 5.8.2024, Please, register for the re-examination through Sisu service no later than 8.8.
