We are looking for an inspiring Marketing Specialist for a permanent position to help our schools attract the right applicants – both domestic and international – and strengthen our student marketing and recruitment efforts. 

You will work closely with our schools to brainstorm, plan, and execute their own marketing activities, while also contributing to university-wide initiatives that involve the schools and their programmes. Together with another marketing specialist, you will act as a key link between the schools and university-wide marketing services. You will ensure timely, accurate information flow across people, roles, and teams, and align school-level efforts with broader campaigns. 

Among other things, your work may involve: 

  • Providing hands-on support in digital marketing activities; comprising the whole process from planning to execution, measurement and analysis, as well as development. 
  • Creating high-quality, applicant-focused content across channels—from social media to website articles and news—and optimising content for search engines. 
  • Collaborating with current students; activating, engaging, and guiding them to support recruitment and marketing activities.  
  • Organising, coordinating, and participating in student recruitment events such as student fairs and webinars. 

The ideal candidate is a passionate and driven team player who is able to navigate and thrive in a complex matrix environment with multiple stakeholders. They need to be fluent in both Finnish and English (spoken and written). Additional skills might include: 

  • Utilising data in decision-making; social media; search engine marketing; CRM or marketing automation experience; digital (marketing) communication tools; and copywriting skills 
  • Organisational skills and the ability to take care of multiple projects at the same time 
  • Understanding of creative work: design, photography or video production 
  • Applicable degree from a higher education institution 
  • Dynamic touch to work, good social skills and a great sense of humour 
     

In addition, it would be a bonus if you had — 

  • Strong knowledge-of or professional background in university or education sector 
  • Familiarity with academic environments, public sector, marketing, student recruitment processes, or communications 
  • Fluent Swedish
