What is radical creativity in practice? An interview series offers perspectives on new ways of thinking
Compiled from interviews in Aalto University’s Radical Creatives film, this cinematic interview series explores what creativity is and how it manifests in different people, different fields and different stages of life.
The series brings together artists, researchers, and innovators to discuss creativity, collaboration and new ideas. The episodes delve into how experimentation, curiosity and risk-taking can give birth to something genuinely new.
Guests in the Radical Creativity interview series include Moomin creative director Sophia Jansson, film producer Max Malka, fashion designer Ervin Latimer, glass artist and designer Milla Vaahtera, and diplomat Pekka Haavisto, who speaks about peace negotiations and connections between people.
The interviews were directed by filmmaker and fashion designer Emilia Hernesniemi.
The series is published by Aalto University’s newly established Centre for Radical Creativity, which explores the nature of creativity and seeks real opportunities for global change. The interview series is also available as a podcast. The series reinvents the podcast format by incorporating cinematic elements into its video storytelling.
Join us in exploring creativity, risk-taking, and collaboration—the very things that give rise to genuinely new perspectives!
