The aim of the European Days for Sustainable Circular Economy event is to promote a low-carbon, climate resilient circular economy. This flagship event will be held 30 September–1 October in Helsinki in connection with Finland’s Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The first day will consist of a joint conference and the second day will consist of three parallel conferences:
- CE 2019 Conference - Sustainable transition to a low-carbon, climate resilient circular economy: creating the knowledge base
- Manufuture 2019 Conference - Sustainable Smart Manufacturing
- SI 2019 Conference - Sustainable Innovation with EIT RawMaterials, EIT Digital, EIT Food and Climate-KIC.
The event is relevant to all who wish to contribute to enhancing the uptake of circular economy practices. The event programme will focus on scientific and practical knowledge on the transition towards a sustainable and resilient circular economy-based society and industry.

A side event “EIT Festival” will be organized 2 October in Otaniemi, Espoo, Finland, showcasing the results and activities of different EIT entities in Finland. Please follow the side event links on the Presidency event website for more information.
