Strikes on 14 and 15 Feb: Impact on studying and student services

The strikes scheduled for 14 and 15 February may affect teaching arrangements, depending on the teacher.

On Wednesday and Thursday (14 and 15 February) teaching will be organised in remote or hybrid mode when possible. Unless a teacher notifies otherwise, teaching and examinations will be held normally. Any supervision or assessment appointments or similar meetings may be held as agreed between the parties, either remotely or on campus.

As a rule, a teaching event cancelled due to the strike will be replaced by a remote teaching event or a lecture recording or it will be rescheduled if the teacher thinks that this is necessary to ensure that the learning outcomes of the course are attained.

In the event that an examination or midterm test is cancelled, a new time will be scheduled as near the original time as possible. An exam may also be postponed to a previously planned make-up exam date if this date is reasonably close to the original date and the postponement does not cause the students unreasonable inconvenience.
