Saunas on Otaniemi campus temporarily out of use

As part of energy conservation efforts, the saunas located on the Otaniemi campus are temporarily out of use.
No sauna

As part of Aalto University's energy conservation efforts, the Otaniemi campus saunas are out of use for the time being. Only the executive sauna at Konemiehentie 2 and Laude in A Grid (Otakaari 5), managed by an external partner, will continue to operate.

On the Otaniemi campus, the university has a dozen saunas. Not using them helps to achieve the common energy saving goal. The goal is to achieve a 15 per cent energy saving in the next 12 months through the actions aimed at the university's buildings and the actions of the Aalto community and other campus users.

The impacts of the measures, targeted at the university buildings, will be monitored for a period of 12 months, after which the next steps will be agreed upon
