Robin Ras among the 2013 MRS Science as Art Winners

Professor Robin Ras received the second place in 2013 MRS Science as Art competition.

"Family Portrait of Magnetic Droplets” received the second place in 2013 MRS Science as Art competition, presented at the 2013 MRS Fall Meeting held at Boston, Massachusetts (01.12-06.12.2013). The image is a composite photograph of ferrofluid droplets on a superhydrophobic surface at varying magnetic field strengths. The “eyes” are reflections from two lamps.
