Professor Peter Lund has been awarded with the Chinese Jingling Friendship award.

The award was given to him for his work with economic and social development in Nanjing. The acknowledgement is the highest award that can be given to a non-Chinese person in Nanjing. Nanjing is one of the most central areas in China when it comes to technical development.

Professor Lund is now a visiting professor at Southeast University.
